Responsibilities:

  • Help residents with their daily living activities (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, using the lavatory and bathing.
  • Assist people who have trouble moving around and getting from their beds to wheelchairs or other parts of the institution.
  • Create a cosy and compassionate atmosphere by offering inhabitants company and emotional support.
  • Keep an eye on the health of the residents by noting any changes in their condition and reporting them to the nursing staff or other medical experts.
  • Help with the residents’ meals, making sure their nutritional needs are satisfied, and helping to feed them if needed.
  • Handle modest housekeeping tasks to keep residents’ living spaces tidy, safe, and orderly.
    Respect resident privacy, follow all facility policies, and comply with all healthcare requirements.
  • Work together with the medical staff to deliver high-quality care, and as needed, participate in care planning.
  • Take part in instructional workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A high school degree or its equivalent is required; extra nursing assistant or healthcare training qualifications are advantageous.
