Responsibilities of a Kitchen Helper:

  • Help with basic food preparation duties, such as peeling fruits and vegetables and slicing vegetables, while following the directions of the kitchen staff.
  • Assist the chefs and cooks by keeping the kitchen spotless and well-organized, which includes cleaning and disinfecting pots, pans, and other culinary supplies.
  • Help put meal items, garnishes, and condiments together and arrange them in accordance with predetermined standards.
  • Accept and hold incoming food supplies, making sure to mark and store them correctly to preserve quality and freshness.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations when cleaning and disinfecting kitchen surfaces, floors, and appliances.
  • Follow waste management guidelines while disposing of garbage and recyclables.
  • Work together with the kitchen crew to maintain efficient operations and lend a hand with different chores as required.

Requirements needed for kitchen helper job:
